About the Event
USSOCOM conducts Technical Experimentation (TE) events throughout the United States to provide an opportunity for technology developers to interact with SOF to determine how their technology development efforts and ideas may support and enhance SOF capability requirements. This TE-event, called TE25-1, will be the first international TE event. It will be staged at Rena, Norway.
TE25-1 will highlight technologies with the potential to support US/Norwegian and Allied special operations in Arctic environments. This includes technologies developed for high-latitude regions, cold weather operations, long periods of darkness, and cross-over conditions. TE25-1 will explore emerging technology solutions and revolutionary capability enhancements and are looking for materiel solutions with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 3 or greater.
