Team Norway were present for FSi's annual conference last week, showcasing Norwegian industry and defense capabilities. FSi anticipated over 750 representatives from 17 nations will visit the Fanehallen and Artilleriloftet during the two days of the event. The fair gathers visitors from both industry and authorities and provides an important meeting place for foreign industry interested in meeting with FSi member companies.
FSi wrote on their website that close to 70 exhibitors were on hand when the State Secretary opened the FSi fair 2022 at Akershus Fortress in front of representatives from close to 100 of FS's member companies. In the opening speech, the State Secretary emphasized that the defense industry is a key player in safeguarding our national security and preparedness. Ha said further i.a. that "It is important for the Minister and me to listen to the challenges and opportunities that not least small and medium-sized companies face. The government wants to make the best possible arrangements for SMEs to succeed in international markets as well."
