On February 25th, the Norwegian Delegation for Arctic Parliamentary Cooperation visited the House of NADIC for a brief on Norwegian companies working in the Arctic sphere.

The Delegation consisted of Mr. Lars Haltbrekken (Socialist Left Party) - Member of the Standing Committee for Energy and Environment, Mr. Wilfred Nordlund (Center Party) - Head of the Standing Committee on Business and Industry, and Mr. Bård Ludvig Thorheim (Conservative Party) - Member of the Standing Committee for Energy and environment.
The Delegation's mission is to maintain productive cooperation and collaboration between Arctic nations and other actors on issues such as energy, climate change and the environment, maritime transport, health and education.
Norwegian industry representatives from Kongsberg Satellite Services, Nammo, and Space Norway briefed the delegation on their work in the space and arctic sectors, and their continued collaboration with U.S. partners.

American consultants C2 Strategies and Product Knowledge briefed the delegation on the current American landscape, highlighting the policy shifts under the new administration. They also shared their unique insights into how the evolving political landscape is shaping future developments.
We also heard from Team Norway partners at the Royal Norwegian Embassy, Innovation Norway, and NorCham DC on successful Norwegian-American economic cooperation efforts.

We look forward to continued cooperation as we work together to strengthen the Arctic's strategic importance and vital role on the global stage.
